We are called upon every day to rescue dogs from abuse, abandonment, injury and illness. Due to the high number of stray dogs in Tanzania, there is sadly no shortage of dogs who need help. Our resources and funds are limited. Thanks to Doge Pound Studios, we are expanding our operations. The Doge Pound Shelter is creating space for hundreds of more dogs to be rescued. Still, we will not be able to rescue dogs without your help.

Stray dogs are typically not valued the way we see in the west. Diseases such as rabies and distemper are common amongst strays. As such, killing and physical abuse are commonplace for many of the dogs here. We rescue, sterilize and treat street dogs in need while implementing outreach vaccination and animal welfare programs to mitigate the level of suffering.

We do not receive government funding and rely solely upon donations from compassionate dog lovers across the world. We pride ourselves on efficient use of our funds
